Backstory

With a lifelong passion for sport I chose to study Sports Management at Loughborough University and graduated with First Class Honours. During my time there, through many voluntary opportunities, I turned my hobby of video production into a career.

Two weeks out of university I was hired as a junior video producer for Seb Coe’s London Sports Agency CSM, working for global brands, governing bodies and international athletes under the tutelage of an esteemed former Sky Sports Producer.

After an incredible time at CSM, I chose to explore the exciting freelance video production industry. Highlights included covering the 2015 Rugby World Cup, documenting the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team visits to play in London and travelling all around Europe and to America to film ski and snowboard films for major brands, companies and resorts.

Through this approach I began taking on longer form projects, when a close friend rowed across the Pacific we self-produced the documentary film ‘Why Row an Ocean’ which won the ‘Best In Festival’ award at the Four Season Film Festival.

Attention turned fully towards long-form documentary productions with a particular focus on sports documentaries that explore important social issues. These documentary productions include ‘Everybody’s Game’ [Amazon Original], ‘No Woman No Try’ [Amazon Exclusive] and the Docu-Series ‘Prep to Win: Harlequins’ [Amazon Exclusive] as well as a series of mini-documentaries for the BBC.

In 2023 I directed and produced ‘Game On: The Unstoppable Rise of Women’s Sport” in collaboration with leading Women’s Sport Activist Sue Anstiss, MBE. The documentary was released on Netflix in June 2023.

In 2024, we collaborated again with Sue Anstiss on “Abbie Ward. A Bump in the Road” documenting her journey as an international rugby player returning to play 3 months after giving birth. The documentary was acquired by ITVX and Sky Sports.

In 2025 disability equality became a key area of focus for my production work and went on to create “FIGHTERS” a disability equality documentary produced in collaboration with leading disability equality advocate Michael Grimmett. The film was screened in Odeon Cinemas across the UK.

Disability equality is a subject matter close to my heart, I’m currently in production on a new feature exploring inclusivity through elite sport as well as a number of other projects in development.
